Provider Networks Rank Ahead Of Cost In Health Plan Choice For Privately Insured Adults

Provider networks were the most important consideration for privately insured adults choosing a health plan, according to a recent consumer survey. Out-of-pocket cost-sharing, prescription drug coverage, and premiums were also important factors influencing plan selection. Most privately insured adults reported having a choice of two to four health plan options.
