Buprenorphine-Naloxone Found More Effective Than Extended-Release Naltrexone In Preventing Non-Fatal Opioid Overdoses Following Withdrawal Treatment
Adults with opioid use disorder who received buprenorphine-naloxone following medically managed opioid withdrawal treatment experienced fewer non-fatal opioid overdoses than those treated with extended-release (XR) naltrexone, according to a comparative effectiveness analysis.
