Wisconsin Medicaid Selects Six MCOs For Family Care & Partnership Contracts In GSR 3

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) selected six managed care organizations (MCOs) for Medicaid Family Care and Family Care Partnership contracts in Geographic Service Region (GSR) 3, serving more than 9,000 members across seven southeastern Wisconsin counties. The contracts are expected to begin January 1, 2027. The awards introduce two new contractors into the region while expanding the geographic footprints of several incumbent managed care organizations.

For the Family Care contracts, DHS selected four MCOs:

Elevance/Anthem, a new contractor, will serve all seven counties in the region.

Humana/Inclusa, which currently serves Ozaukee, Washington, and Waukesha counties . . .
