After Louisiana and Washington State implemented nearly identical Medicaid subscription-based payment models (SBPMs) to expand access to hepatitis C virus (HCV) treatment, due to state policy factors Louisiana's program had a greater impact than Washington's. Both had implemented SBPMs in July 2019.
