Appellate Court Ruling In Kentucky Department Of Correction v. Boyd County, Et Al.

The ruling was issued on July 11, 2025, by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Court of Appeals. The case is a dispute between county jails and the state Department of Correction (DOC) about the definition of standard medical care for inmates to be covered by the DOC's per diem payment to the jails to cover medical costs of state inmates held at county jails.
