Iowa To Launch Virtual Home Visiting System In 2015 The Iowa Department of Public Health (DPH) is planning to launch a free web-based virtual home visiting (VHV) system in 2015 that will provide parenting education and child development information to low-risk families in the state not typically eligible for traditional home visiting services. DPH also anticipates that the system will increase referrals of high-risk families to existing local family support services through Iowa’s coordinated intake system. The system will provide families earning 200% or more of the federal poverty level with individualized lesson plans for parenting . . .
