Three-Judge Court Opinion On The Order Granting In Part & Denying In Part California’s Request For An Extension Of The Prison Population Reduction Deadline

The panel of federal judges gave California until the end of February 2016 to reduce its inmate population to no more than 137.5% of bed capacity. The ruling came in response to the state's request for a delay in meeting the terms of a court order in Coleman v. Plata.
