Executive Order — Minimum Wage Requirement For Federal Contractors

This Presidential executive order, signed on February 12, 2014, requires that for new contracts beginning on or after January 1, 2015, federal contractors must pay employees a minimum wage of at least $10.10 per hour; the order also applies to organizations employing workers with disabilities and currently holding waivers permitting them to pay disabled workers less than minimum wage. The order applies to federal contractors and subcontractors to federal service or concessions contracts . . .
