Utah Department Of Health Report To Legislature: Autism Treatment Account Pilot Program Outcomes
The 2012 Utah legislature authorized an autism services pilot with three sub-pilots. The Autism Treatment Account (ATA) is one of the sub-pilots. The ATA serves children with autism spectrum disorders, 2 to 7 years of age. Through the ATA, the Utah Department of Health (DOH) contracts with four Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) provider organizations. In this document, the DOH reported the outcomes of children served by the ATA to the legislature. A total of 35 children received services during the first year of the pilot.
