PPACA Subsidized Health Coverage Projected To Have Little Effect On Business Hiring Plans
A survey conducted by the National Association for Business Economics (NABE) in January 2014 found that 85% of its member respondents were not changing their hiring plans as a result of the provisions related to employer health insurance benefits mandated by the Patient Protection and Affordable care Act of 2010 (PPACA). About 75% said they had not changed their expectations or planning for 2014 as a result of the PPACA.
