San Diego County Community Corrections Partnership Two Year AB109-Public Safety Realignment Update

In this document dated December 16, 2013, the San Diego County Community Corrections Partnership (CCP) reported its progress implementing a 2011 state law (Assembly Bill 109, Public Safety Realignment) that changed county probation practices by shifting probation responsibility for certain felony offenders from the state to the counties. The law authorized each county to create a CCP to implement the realignment plan. In this update report, the CCP reported its progress implementing the strategies in San Diego's plan.
