Medicaid & CHIP: February 2014 Monthly Applications and Eligibility Determinations Report Released April 4, 2014

On April 4, 2014, the federal Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that from October 1, 2013, through February 28, 2014, state Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Plan (CHIP) programs had completed 11.7 million eligibility determinations for people who applied for Medicaid/CHIP coverage directly or who were deemed eligible after applying for insurance coverage through the state and federal Health Insurance Marketplaces.
