In this presentation, the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) presented its plans for expanding community-based capacity during state fiscal year 2015. The presentation focuses on the budget for services to be developed in Regions 1, 4, and 6. The governor’s proposed budget for fiscal year 2015 includes $60.6 million to fund 750 new waivers to help individuals with developmental disabilities in state hospitals transition to community care and 400 new waivers for individuals with developmental disabilities residing in the community who need additional supports and services . . .
