Illinois Awards $30 Million Pay-For-Success Contract To One Hope United
On April 7, 2014, the State of Illinois selected One Hope United for a contract valued at up to $30 million to launch a pay-for-success (PFS) initiative to increase support for at-risk youth involved in both the child welfare and juvenile justice systems. The project aims to improve placement outcomes, reduce rearrests, and increase the number of successful transitions to adulthood through the use of evidence-based community alternatives to congregate care. The contract period is expected to begin in the fall of 2014 and run through 2021.
