Wisconsin Medicaid Seeks Managed Long-Term Care Proposals For Three Regions

On April 4, 2014, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services released a request for proposals (RFP S-0295 DLTC-14) seeking Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs) to provide services in two regions for the Family Care and Family Care Partnership programs. The two programs provide health and long-term care services for low-income frail elders and adults with developmental, intellectual, or physical disabilities who have long-term care needs. Proposals are due May 16, 2014. The contracts are slated to start in early 2015. DHS will have the option to offer four, one-year renewal options.
