Community Report On Autism 2014
In April 2014, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published its fifth community report from the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring (ADDM) Network. The report summarizes the main findings from the CDC report "Prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorder Among Children Aged 8 Years—Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring Network, 11 sites." The snapshot focuses on what is known now and what else is needed to know to further characterize and address the needs of children with ASD and their families. The report's target audience includes service providers (such as healthcare organizations and school systems), researchers, and policymakers . . .
