In this report released April 3, 2014, the Mental Health Commission of Canada reported outcomes of a housing first program called “At Home/Chez Soi” for homeless adults with mental illness. The program began in 2008; the Canadian government invested $110 million for a five-year research demonstration project to generate data about effective approaches for homeless adults with serious mental illness.
