Vermont Awards $3 Million Psychiatric Consultation Services Contract To Fletcher Allen

On April 1, 2014, Fletcher Allen Health Care, Inc. started a new $3.0 million contract with the Vermont Department of Mental Health (DMH) providing psychiatric consultation, staffing, and direct health care services. Fletcher Allen Health Care will provide medical directors for both the administrative and policy development functions of the DMH central office and the clinical oversight of the state-run hospital. The initial contract term, valued at $3.0 million, runs through June 30, 2015, followed by the possibility of two one-year renewal periods.
