Georgia To Pilot Privatized Foster Care Placements In Two Regions

The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) is preparing to launch a one-year pilot program testing privatized foster care services in two regions spanning 18 counties in northwest, central, and northeast Georgia. The request for proposals (RFP) is slated for release on June 20, 2014, with proposals due by July 18, 2014. Awards announcements are anticipated by early October 2014.
