Connecticut Funds Additional Housing For Residents With Intellectual Disabilities

The Connecticut Department of Developmental Services (DDS) budget for 2014-2015 includes increased funding for Community Residential Services by $4 million to move some clients off a waiting list for residential placements, including supportive housing. The new funding for Community Residential Services will be available as of July 1, 2014. The DDS budget includes a total of $458.6 million for Community Residential Services. The additional $4 million in new funding represents an increase of $0.8%.
