Connecticut Department of Developmental Services Level of Need (LON) Level For Individuals On The Waiting List

On March 6, 2014, the Connecticut Department of Developmental Services responded to questions from the Connecticut Appropriations Health and Hospitals subcommittee on waiting lists. The Connecticut Department of Developmental Services (DDS) reported the level of need and estimated costs to serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) on waiting lists for Community Residential Services. Information provided included: 1) the number of individuals on the waiting list by level of need (LON); 2) age of caregivers, the autism waiting list, 3) the cost of addressing the current emergencies and Priority 1s for people with intellectual disabilities and people with autism . . .
