AHR Professionals Awarded $310 Million Contract For Temporary & Relief Psychiatrist Services At Atascadero State Hospital

On May 7, 2014, the California Department of State Hospitals (DSH)-Atascadero awarded AHR Professionals a contract valued at $310.3 million to provide temporary/relief psychiatrist services at the Atascadero State Hospital from May 7, 2014 through December 31, 2015. DSH released the invitation for bid (IFB 13-09100-000) on October 1, 2013. Proposals were due by October 22, 2013. DSH sought a single company to provide 22 psychiatrist staff per month to work a total 176 hours monthly to fill temporarily vacant psychiatrist positions at the hospital. DSH reported no other bids for this contract.
