Acadia Healthcare To Acquire UK-Based Inpatient Behavioral Health Provider Organization In $660 Million Deal

On June 3, 2014, Acadia Healthcare Company, Inc. (Acadia) announced it had signed a definitive agreement to acquire Partnerships in Care (PiC) an inpatient behavioral health provider organization with 23 facilities in the United Kingdom (UK). The transaction is scheduled to close on July 1, 2014. The PiC acquisition, valued at approximately $660 million in cash, represents Acadia’s entry into the UK market.
