Three Insurers & Non-Profit Health Care Cost Institute Creating Health Care Transparency Tool
On May 14, 2014, the independent, non-profit Health Care Cost Institute (HCCI) announced that it is working health insurers Aetna, Humana, and UnitedHealthcare to develop a free online tool that will offer consumers comprehensive information about the price and quality of health care services. The tool is expected to launch in early 2015.
