Non-profit opioid treatment programs (OTPs) in 2011 were more likely than for-profit programs to offer testing for all communicable diseases, all psychiatric services, and social services support. Government regulations do not require OTPs to offer comprehensive services. About 31.1% of for-profit OTPs, 51.9% of non-profit OTPs, and 71.6% of public OTPs offered screening for HIV, sexually transmitted infections, and viral hepatitis.
