On May 6, 2014, the Orange County California Board of Supervisors approved a three-year contract valued at $1.19 million with the Orangewood Children's Foundation to provide independent living program (ILP) services to youth and young adults up to age 21 in Orange County, California. The contract will start July 1, 2014, and run through June 30, 2017. The services are for former wards or dependents of the Orange County Juvenile Court and placed in out-of-home care on or after age 16.
