Medicare Part D Payment for Drugs for Beneficiaries Enrolled in Hospice
On May 1, 2014, Medicare implemented a new policy to ensure that beneficiaries receiving hospice benefits receive all drugs or biologicals needed to manage the terminal condition through the hospice, not Medicare Part D.
