On June 18, 2014, the Government Accountability Office (GAO)  issued testimony by Randall B. Williamson, Director, Health Care, for the federal Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The testimony addresses use of non-VA medical care (also referred to as fee basis care) provided by non-VA health care providers.
