Health Center Program: Behavioral Health Integration: FY 2014 Grant Awards
On July 31, 2014, the federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) awarded $54.6 million in grants to 221 community health centers to allow the centers to establish or expand behavioral health services. The centers will each receive about $250,000. The funds can be used to hire new mental health professionals, add mental health and addiction disorder health services, or implement integrated models of primary care.
