Sonoma Developmental Center Appeals The Enforcement Action By California Department Of Public Health Against SCF ICF-DD

On July 25, 2014, the California Department of Public Health (DPH) recommended terminating federal certification of the seven remaining intermediate care facility for individuals with developmental disabilities (ICF/DD) units at Sonoma Developmental Center (SDC) because the facility failed to meet multiple health and safety standards. The seven units house 166 residents; the termination order goes into effect 90 days after it was issued.
