ACH Child & Family Services Launches Texas Foster Care Redesign Contract

On September 1, 2014, ACH Child and Family Services in Texas launched its foster care redesign contract with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS). ACH is the Single Source Continuum Contractor (SSCC) for foster care services in seven Texas counties in DFPS Region 3b: Tarrant, Palo Pinto, Parker, Johnson, Hood, Somervell, and Erath counties. For the contract, ACH formed new division, Our Community Our Kids (OCOK), to manage the contract; finance and community relations; care management; and quality and contracts with its network of provider organizations that will deliver direct services.
