California Medicaid To Assess Home & Community-Based Services Waiver Settings For Compliance With New Federal Definition
On September 19, 2014, the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) released a draft Statewide Transition Plan (STP) signaling how it will assess community settings serving people enrolled in Medicaid home- and community-based service (HCBS) waivers to determine if the settings meets new federal requirements.
