California Reconvenes IDD Task Force To Review Reimbursement Rates For Community-Based Provider Organizations

On July 3, 2014, the California Health and Human Services Agency announced it would reconvene a task force to review reimbursement rates for community-based services for individuals with developmental disabilities (IDD) as part of a broader effort to make recommendations for strengthen the community-based IDD system. In addition to examining reimbursement rates, the task force will examine issues related to new state and federal laws and staffing levels at the state’s 21 Regional Centers. The goal will be strengthening the community system in the context of a growing and aging population, resource constraints, availability of community resources . . .
