LogistiCare Begins MaineCare Non-Emergency Transportation Contract

On August 1, 2014, MaineCare (Maine’s Medicaid program) launched a new non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) broker contract with LogistiCare. The initial contract year is valued at $8.8 million, paid via a monthly capitated reimbursement rate that encompasses multiple per member per month rates for different groups. The contract’s base year is followed by two one-year renewal options.
