Maryland Board of Public Works June 12, 2013 Meeting Agenda, With Contract Awards For Residential Child Care Provider Organizations

This document released in June 2013 includes approvals for Maryland's most recent round of contracts for residential child care (RCC ) provider organizations following a competitive procurement issued in September 2012. Residential child care beds in Maryland are allocated within six program types: developmentally disabled; diagnostic evaluation and treatment; group homes; high intensity group homes; medically fragile; and psychiatric residential. The Maryland Department of Human Resources (DHR) awarded contracts with an aggregate value of $191 million, to 44 separate RCC provider organizations to serve a total of 760 children.
