CMS Needs To Do More To Improve Medicaid Children’s Utilization of Preventive Screening Services (OEI-05-13-00690)
This report was released November 12, 2014 by the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) for the federal Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The report was conducted as a follow-up to a 2010 OIG report about the degree to which children enrolled in Medicaid were not receiving all required Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) medical screening services.
