Wyoming Proposes Medicaid Expansion Through Alternative Benefit Plan
The Wyoming Department of Health has released its recommendations for an alternative Medicaid expansion model, which will provide health coverage to 17,600 individuals, about 3.0% of the state's 582,658 population in 2013. The model, Wyoming’s "Strategy for Health Access, Responsibility, and Employment" (SHARE) Plan,  features an alternative benefit plan as well as premiums for higher income individuals.
