Few Employers Plan To Drop Employee Health Benefits In 2015
One percent of employers are considering terminating their employee health benefits in 2015 and few are considering using the so-called “Cadillac tax” on high-cost health plans beginning in 2018. Additionally, 26.3% plan to add wellness rewards or penalties in 2015, 3.6% plan tiered networks, 3.2% plan to move to a private exchange, 2.6% plan to adopt a value-based insurance design, and 0.6% plan to adopt reference pricing.
