Behavioral Health & The Criminal Justice System: NYC Mayor’s Task Force Action Plan 2014
On December 1, 2014 the New York City Mayor’s Task Force released its 2014 Action Plan entitled, Behavioral Health and the Criminal Justice System. The report presents the mayor’s vision for methods to divert those suffering from mental illness from incarceration, if possible, and to provide treatment and programs for them.
