Greater Arizona Integrated Behavioral Health Managed Care Contracts Awarded To Health Choice Integrated Care & Cenpatico Integrated Care

On December 18, 2014, the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) announced it had awarded contracts for the Greater Arizona Integrated Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) Northern and Southern regions to Health Choice Integrated Care (HCIC) and Cenpatico Integrated Care. HCIC will serve as the RBHA for the Northern Region and Cenpatico will serve the Southern Region. The contracts are slated to go live in October 2015. The annual estimated value is $700 million to $800 million for the three-year initial contract term. The initial contract terms are followed by the option for two two-year extensions.
