UnitedHealth Launches Commercial Pilot Bundled Payment Program At MD Anderson Cancer Center
On December 15, 2014, UnitedHealthcare and MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas announced the launch of a pilot bundled payment program for cancer treatment for commercially insured patients. The three-year pilot will involve up to 150 patients with newly diagnosed head and neck cancers who are enrolled in certain employer-sponsored benefit plans insured or administered by UnitedHealthcare.
