This report is a comparative effectiveness review released by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) in November 2014. The researchers conducted a literature review of studies that reported outcomes for outpatient medication therapy management (MTM) interventions for adults age 18 or older with one or more chronic health conditions requiring the use of prescription medications to manage symptoms or prevent disease progression.
