Crowdfunding Campaign Funds More Behavioral Health Screening Kiosks In Philadelphia
The Philly Takes Action For Behavioral Health online crowdfunding campaign is helping to place two more automated behavioral health screening kiosks in the city during the spring of 2015. The campaign, launched by Screening for Mental Health, Inc. (SMH) and the Thomas Scattergood Behavioral Health Foundation, ran for two months, from November 17, 2014, through January 16, 2015. It generated $1,300 in online contributions and another $500 in offline contributions; these funds are being matched and augmented by funding from the Scattergood Foundation. The new kiosks will be placed at the Office of Counseling & Health at Drexel University . . .
