41% Of Employers Considering Private Health Insurance Exchange For Benefits Delivery By 2018
About 41% of employers responding to a survey said they were considering creating a private health insurance exchange by 2018 for delivering employer-sponsored health benefits. A private health insurance exchange selects a variety of health plans to participate; employers allow their employees to select from the plans offered through the private exchange. A private health insurance exchange is an alternative to offering a single employer-sponsored plan, or not offering health benefits.
