Texas System of Care Consortium 2014 Legislative Report: Achieving Well-Being For Children & Youth
In its January 2015 report to the state legislature, the Texas System of Care Consortium recommended that the state improve childrenÂ’'s access to mental health services and supports. The legislature established the Texas System of Care Consortium in 2013 to help improve the coordination of state services for children. In this report to the legislature, the Consortium reported state progress on earlier recommendations and made 13 new recommendations in six areas: leadership, family voice, youth voice, access to services and supports, communication and social marketing, and data and accountability . . .
