Arizona Stay Order In Magellan Maricopa County RBHA Protest

Magellan Health Services, Inc. filed a protest stay request on April 3, 2013 against the State of Arizona's decision to award the Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) contract to a different vendor. Magellan cited the cost, the uncertainty, and the impact to the population served as reasons to grant the stay. After this motion was denied by the Arizona Department of Health Services on April 17 2013, Magellan filed another appeal on May 9, and the stay was granted on May 21, 2013. The RBHA contract is for the management of a publicly funded behavioral health . . .
