The report was released by the National Health Service (NHS) of England to inform stakeholders of the benefits of integrated digital care records, technology standards that should be adopted to ensure interoperability to facilitate data exchange, procurement alternatives, and processes by which local NHS and Foundation Trusts can apply for funding from a newly created technology fund. The NHS England seeks to implement digital health records nationwide.
