North Carolina Awards $1 Million To Cardinal Innovations & Monarch For State’s First Children’s Crisis Center
On January 20, 2015, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services (DMH/DD/SAS) awarded Cardinal Innovations Healthcare Solutions grant funding of nearly $1 million for a new Child and Adolescent Facility-Based Crisis (FBC) Center service. The 16-bed facility will be based in Mecklenburg County and operated by Monarch.
