Florida Department Of Corrections Secretary Jones Statements To Senate Criminal Justice Committee
On February 2, 2015, new Florida Department of Corrections (DOC) Secretary Julie Jones discussed the DOCs budget request with the state Senate Committee on Criminal Justice. She said the DOC faced challenges related to staffing, infrastructure, and the growing mental health care burden in state prisons.
