OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Strategic Health Care News The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) is developing a statewide patient-centered medical home system and in November 2008, the multidisciplinary Medical Home System Advisory Council (Council) started meetings. The Council will develop a strategy for IDPH to coordinate health care services, monitor data collection on patient-centered medical homes, and provide training and education to health care professionals and families.
